My name is Gayle B and Huggy Snugs Crochet is the name I've given my creations, just in case I decide to sell them one day. In the meantime, it's a great name for this blog and for people to look me up.

I can be a bit crochet-obsessed, until I find myself needing a change. Obsessed with food, focused on travel—my passions tend to pull me in deeply until I switch gears to prevent burnout. To avoid that, I balance my passions, and I hope this blog reflects that balance along with showcasing my crochet hobby.

I admit, there's something about the feel of crochet hooks gliding into yarn and setting stitch after stitch that's both calming and focusing in a world full of distractions. It's also my go-to comfort when I'm overstimulated or grappling with social anxiety.

Crochet is also a way for me to create hugs in the form of snuggly, handmade treasures. Through this blog, I'm excited to share that cozy magic with you. Whether it's through a warm blanket, which is my favorite thing to make, a cuddly amigurumi, or a comfy granny square blanket, each piece is a journey, and I'm thrilled to have you along for the ride.
